Mary Patricia (Pa) Wharton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and loving friend to so many wonderful people, passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2020 after a courageous battle with COPD. Never to let her illness slow her down, Mary always lived a full life.
Mary was a devoted wife and mother who spent much of her life helping her family and friends understand love and empathy for others. Mary and John were instrumental in helping start Nova Center Inc. in 1980 in order to provide education and services for individuals with developmental disabilities and people with special-needs.
Nova will miss Mary’s constant smile, zing for life and deep love of family.
